Open Hearts Community Mission is a privately funded community-based 501(c)(3) rescue mission serving the residents of Bulloch County with High Standards, Strong Boundaries, and Clear Direction. We share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by extending a hand-up, not a hand-out to our Friends and Neighbors. If residents do not have a job when they enter the mission, their job is to get a job. There is never a charge for staying at the mission. All net earnings are deposited in the residents’ personal savings accounts. It is open to those who are willing to work, save their earnings, and move forward in life. All residents have a mentor and a financial counselor. Together with the resident they craft the goals, markers, and duration of the program. The Mission does not provide clinical services nor offer convalescence services.
